Should I quit my job?

Should I quit my job?

Recently a friend told me that her husband had undergone an operation and had to stay in hospital for a few days. When he recovered and was due to go back to work he confided in her that he'd rather have stayed in hospital than go back to the job that he hated.

He's not alone! 2 in 5 people in the UK are planning to leave their current jobs within the next 12 months.

Many of my clients seek out my help because they are trying to answer the question of whether or not they should quit their job. Often it's because they're unhappy in their job. Sometimes it's because they have dreams of following a passion. Either way it's rarely an easy decision. A decision that is likely to impact your earnings, social life, relationships...in fact there's hardly an area of your life that won't be affected.

So it's worth spending time on self-reflection, research and planning before you hand in your notice.

If you're thinking about quitting your job, but aren't sure it's the right path for you, you might like to take part in my next online programme.
